getting rid of email notifications!

Charm, is there any way to change the default setting so that you don't get an email everytime someone responds to a thread? I know you can do it manually in each thread, but I'm just wondering if you as administrator are able to change the default? thinking

PROFILE, then PREFERENCES

go to...
Always notify me of replies :
Sends an e-mail when someone replies to a topic you have posted in. This can be changed whenever you post.

and click on NO

then save your changes

you can also click on the options at the bottom when you reply...

click the tick OFF at "Notify me when a reply is posted"
